EXCERPTS from Charmaine Dragun's planned wedding were read out at her funeral today - 10 days after she took her own life following a battle with depression.
The Channel 10 newsreader, who plunged to her death at Sydney's The Gap, was farewelled at a church service in Perth.
Hundreds of people packed the All Saints Church in suburban Greenwood to remember the 29-year-old's humour, laughter, inner strength and courage.
Father Vincent Conroy said an excerpt from the Corinthians read at today's service was to be read at Ms Dragun's wedding to Simon Struthers in March.
Ms Dragun's parents Michael and Estelle had been aware of their daughter's fragility as she struggled with depression, Father Conroy said.
Mourners were asked to pray for those burdened by similar illnesses.
The service was to be followed by a celebration at Perth's Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park, where Ms Dragun's parents, partner, grandfather and brother Matt were to give eulogies.
